Nitrile Rubber – NBR
NBR belongs to the group of synthetic elastomers and is a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It is characterized by good resistance to a wide range of fuels, oils, and types of greases. It provides good performance at a reasonable price. Its properties can be adjusted by changing the ratio of acrylonitrile, which enhances its resistance to fuels and industrial liquids; for instance, adding acrylonitrile will improve heat and tensile resistance.
